Terms of Service

01Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, platform, command-line tools and APIs provided by Raunsten Labs (“Raunsten”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.

If you have signed a separate written agreement with us, that agreement takes precedence where it conflicts with these Terms.

02The service

Raunsten provides tools to test, score and monitor applications built on large language models. This includes generating test scenarios, sending them to endpoints you configure, grading responses, producing reports and fineness scores, and sampling production traffic when you enable monitoring.

Fineness scores and reports are measurements based on the scenarios run. They help you make decisions but do not guarantee that your application is free of errors, vulnerabilities or harmful outputs.

03Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your credentials and API keys secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at security@raunsten.com if you suspect unauthorised access. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old to create an account.

04Your data

You keep all rights to the prompts, responses, documents, configurations and other content you provide or that your application generates during assays (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited licence to process Customer Data only to provide and secure the service for you.

• We do not use Customer Data to train models offered to other customers.
• We do not sell Customer Data.
• You are responsible for having the rights and any required consents to send Customer Data to us, including personal data contained in production traffic.

Processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy and, for business customers, in our Data Processing Addendum.

05Acceptable use

Raunsten includes adversarial testing features. They exist to make AI systems safer, and you may only use them on systems you own or are authorised to test. You agree not to:

• Point assays at third-party endpoints, models or services without their permission.
• Use generated attack scenarios to cause harm, bypass safety measures of systems you don’t control, or violate any law.
• Resell, sublicense or publicly redistribute our attack libraries or judge models.
• Interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities outside our disclosure programme, or exceed rate limits deliberately.

We may suspend accounts that breach this section, with notice where reasonably possible.

06Fees and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, with usage beyond your plan billed in arrears at the rates shown on our pricing page or in your order form. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise in writing. Prices exclude taxes, which you are responsible for.

We will give at least 30 days’ notice before changing the price of your plan. Changes apply from your next billing period.

07Intellectual property

The service, including our software, scenario generators, attack libraries, judge models, scoring methods and brand, belongs to Raunsten and its licensors. These Terms give you a right to use the service, not ownership of it. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

08Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Testing reduces risk but cannot eliminate it, and you remain responsible for the behaviour of your own AI systems.

09Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our total liability arising from these Terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10Termination

You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for material breach of these Terms that is not cured within 15 days of notice, or immediately where required to protect the service or comply with law. After termination you can export your reports for 30 days, after which Customer Data is deleted according to our retention schedule.

11Changes and contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will notify account owners by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
